Here at Finesse It Pro Barbershop, we're always on the lookout for talented, professional barbers, braiders, and locticians to join our team. If you're a licensed barber in Florida, or an experienced braider or loctician, and you're looking for a great shop environment in Tampa to build your career, we'd love to talk to you. We've got several open positions right now, whether you're looking for a commission setup or a booth rent option.

We pride ourselves on being a Christian, family-friendly shop that welcomes clients of all ages and with all hair types. Our goal is to provide top-notch service in a comfortable, professional setting. We're located at 3835 N 50th St, Ste F, Tampa, FL 33619, and we're open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:30 AM to 8 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 AM to 4 PM. We're closed on Tuesdays.

Commission Barber: Keep 60% + 100% of Your Tips

For barbers looking for a commission-based role, we offer a 1099 commission structure where you keep 60% of every service you perform, plus 100% of all your tips. This means you have a great opportunity to earn well while focusing on your craft. You'll have the flexibility to set your own prices and schedule, as long as it's within our shop hours. We handle the online booking through Book My Barber, and you'll benefit from our regular walk-in traffic and the shop's marketing efforts working for you daily.

To be a good fit for this role, you'll need an active Florida barber license. We're looking for barbers who can deliver clean fades and tapers, provide excellent customer service, and are professional and reliable. Our shop is known for its welcoming atmosphere for everyone, so a friendly, family-oriented approach is key.

Booth Rent Options: Build Your Business Your Way

We have a couple of booth rent options available, designed to fit different stages of a barber's career. Both options allow you to set your own prices and schedule within our shop hours.

First, we have a booth rent option at $350 per week. With this, you'll be able to take advantage of the shop's walk-in clientele, helping you build your book quickly from our steady flow of customers and our advertising. This is a great opportunity if you're looking to expand your client base rapidly.

Second, for barbers who already have a strong, steady clientele, we offer a booth rent at $200 per week. In this setup, walk-ins who specifically ask for you are yours, while general shop walk-ins are directed to our dedicated walk-in chairs. This option is perfect if you're bringing your own book and just need a great space to operate.

For both booth rent barber positions, an active Florida barber license is required. For the $350/week option, we're looking for barbers who are great with walk-ins, fast, clean, and friendly. For the $200/week option, having your own steady clientele is the main requirement.

Braider & Loctician Position: Booth Rent $200/Week

We also have an exciting opportunity for a skilled braider and loctician. This is a booth rent position at $200 per week. You'll benefit from walk-ins specifically looking for braiding or loc services, and like our barbers, you'll set your own prices and schedule within our operating hours.

For this role, we require experience with braids and locs, and we'd love to see photos of your work. We're looking for someone professional, reliable, and excellent with clients of all ages, maintaining the friendly, welcoming environment Finesse It Pro Barbershop is known for.
